Poland is situated in Central Europe, east of Germany.  It is slightly smaller than New Mexico. 

The capital city is Warsaw, the currency is the Zloty and language is Polish .

A population of 38,622,660 occupy a total land area of 120,728 sq mi (312,685 sq km) .

The climate is temperate with cold, cloudy, moderately severe winters with frequent precipitation; mild summers with frequent showers. At 52° N, 20° E.

The terrain is mostly flat plain; mountains along southern border.
