The
Palau de Pedralbes was originally the Guell estate, converted to a
palace (for use during the 1929 International Exhibition) but never
used as one. It soon became the Decorative Arts Museum (1932), Franco's
residence in Barcelona (1939) and was eventually given to the city
(1960) where it now houses the Decorative Arts and Ceramic Arts Museums. |
